ARRT TO STOP ISSUING PAPER CREDENTIAL CARDS DEC. 31, 2020
ARRT will stop issuing paper credential cards on Dec. 31, 2020—after we’ve sent the final paper credential cards to all R.T.s during the renewal process. This means graduates who pass the ARRT exam for certification and registration in 2021 will not receive credential cards and instead can use ARRT’s Verify Credentials online directory to check their certification and registration status.
We update the directory daily, listing R.T.s who are certified and registered. However, we don’t display credentials of people who recently took examinations until the score reports are final.
The change makes it more difficult for people who aren’t R.T.s to represent themselves as such, and it helps us continue progressing toward our goal of moving from paper-based to electronic communications.
