Most Students Can Now Apply Online
Did you know that most students can now apply for an ARRT credential online? Your students will love the ease of the online application process. In January 2021, ARRT notified Program Directors of the availability of online applications for students.
Eventually, all students will be able to apply online. For now, students must use paper applications if they:
- Submitted a student online account access form and received an ARRT ID number (that is, if they were preparing for a second ARRT credential using our postprimary eligibility pathway)
- Applied by paper, failed their exam, and are reapplying
- Have submitted an ethics review preapplication
You can read an overview of the online application process—including how to verify student accounts—by logging in to our Program Directors’ website. Click on Applications for Certification and Registration in the menu bar and select Online Application Process from the list.
Unless you let us know that you need paper applications, we won’t distribute them. That helps avoid duplicated online and paper methods and related delays in processing applications. If you need paper applications, call 651-687-0048 and choose the option for Program Directors. You may also email us at programdirectors@arrt.org.
