ARRT to Eliminate Postprimary Eligibility Pathway for Sonography
Beginning Jan. 1, 2020, ARRT will offer just one option—the primary eligibility pathway—for earning a Sonography credential. We’ll no longer offer the postprimary eligibility pathway for Sonography.
New ARRT ID Numbers Will Be Seven Digits
We’re close to running out of six-digit identification numbers. Beginning no later than 2020, we’ll change to a seven-digit identification number. Your existing six-digit number won’t change.
ARRT Provides Grants to AIUM Winners
ARRT collaborates with AIUM, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (SMRT) and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologist Section (SNMMI-TS) to run scholarship programs. Applicants don’t need to hold an ARRT credential to apply for or receive a grant.
