ARRT CLARIFIES CLINICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR CT

The ARRT Board of Trustees recently approved the following clarification to the CT Clinical Experience Requirements:
- Computed Tomography procedures performed for the purpose of PET or SPECT attenuation correction or radiation therapy planning cannot be used to fulfill ARRT’s clinical experience requirements.
- Any CT scanner may be used to fulfill ARRT’s clinical experience requirements (for example, hybrid scanners and therapy planning scanners).
