ARRT UPDATES OUR CT DOCUMENTS
If you have an ARRT credential in CT—or if you’re working on one—be aware that several of our documents will change on July 1, 2022.
I Have a CT Credential
If you earned your CT credential before Jan. 1, 2011, these changes don’t apply to you.
If you earned your CT credential on or after Jan. 1, 2011, your credential is subject to our Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR). If you need to complete your Structured Self-Assessment (SSA) for CQR, be aware that our SSA content specifications will change on July 1, 2022:
You might benefit from reviewing the new SSA specifications before you complete your SSA.
I’m Working on a CT Credential
If you’re working on an ARRT credential in CT, be aware that these documents will change on July 1, 2022:
- CT Examination Content Specifications (effective July 1, 2022): If you take your exam after June 30, 2022, the exam will be based on the July 1, 2022, content specifications.
- CT Clinical Experience Requirements (effective July 1, 2022):
- If you start your clinical experience requirements before July 1, 2022, you have 24 months to complete them, and you can continue using our previous clinical experience requirements.
- If you start logging clinical experience requirements after July 1, 2022, follow the new requirements.
- If you started logging procedures using the older requirements, but you’d rather switch to the new ones:
- Delete your old worksheet.
- Select the discipline to start a new worksheet.
- Your procedures won’t transfer. (If you want to include previous procedures on the new document, you’ll need to re-enter them, and a verifier will have to review and verify them again.)
