Your Role When Students Are Preparing to Apply With ARRT
When your students are preparing to apply for an ARRT credential, we’ll ask you to verify information about them on two occasions:
- First, you’ll accept or reject their ARRT accounts.
- Later, you’ll verify that they’ve completed their educational requirements.
Approve or Reject Students’ ARRT Accounts
Before students can apply online for an ARRT credential, they must have ARRT accounts. They can create those accounts any time after you provide them with instructions—and a link—for doing so.
We’ll send you an email when students set up an ARRT online account or tell us they’re enrolled in or have completed your program. After you get the email, log in to the program director website and verify the account. (Students can’t apply online until you’ve completed this step.)
The link for verifying student accounts appears on the home page of the program director website. It’s called View student accounts, and you’ll find it under Student Accounts and Online Applications.
Verify That Students Completed Their Educational Requirements
Once a student applies for an ARRT credential, we’ll email you a second time. We’ll ask you to verify that the candidate has successfully completed all didactic (classroom) and clinical requirements and has earned an associate degree or higher.
You can complete this step by logging in to the program directors’ website and updating the Program Completion Verification List. From the main menu bar, click on Program Completion Verification; then select Verification List from the list of options.
