ARRT to Change Credit Reporting for Applications Facility Training

As an R.T., you may have opportunities to attend training from medical equipment vendors. Such training teaches you how to use new types of medical imaging and radiation therapy equipment. When this type of training takes place at your facility, we call it applications facility training.

• Beginning Jan. 1, 2024, you’ll be able to apply newly completed applications facility training credits to biennial continuing education (CE) only. We’ll continue to limit applications facility training credits to a maximum of eight credits per biennium*.
• We won’t accept applications facility training credits for Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR) or structured education requirements if you earn the credits after Dec. 31, 2023.
