How to Request Verification of Your ARRT Status
Some employers or state entities request periodic verification that you’re certified and registered with ARRT. We discontinued paper credential cards in 2019 because our online options provide up-to-date information that’s less subject to alteration and forgery.
It’s easy to request verification on our website. Simply click the Verify Credentials link at the top of the page. You’ll have two options.
If You Need Verification on ARRT Letterhead
Use this option if someone asks for your credential card.
- You’ll need to know two of these three pieces of identifying information: your Social Security number, your date of birth, or your ARRT identification number.
- Your birth date and Social Security number won’t show on the material you print.
- If you need to provide verification of your ARRT identification number, choose this option and use your ARRT number as one of your identifiers.
- If you submit only your Social Security number and birth date, your ARRT identification number won’t show on your verification.
- Select Start Request.
- Choose whether you want to download the information to your computer or mobile device; email it (to yourself or someone else); or fax it (to yourself or someone else).

If You Need to Provide Your CE Biennium Information
Your continuing education (CE) biennium dates and your Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR) information don’t appear on the letterhead option. If you need to provide your CE biennium information or CQR compliance period(s):
- Fill in your name under Search Online Directory (the box on the left). Don’t include titles (such as Ms. or Dr.) or credentials.
- Click Search and check the box next to “I’m not a robot.”
- Click on View Details. You’ll see the date through which your credential is valid, your current CE biennium, and your CQR compliance period(s).
- To print, use the icon in the upper left corner.
