Earlier this year, our Computed Tomography (CT) certification and registration program became the first such program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
NCCA accreditation serves as an objective measure of quality. Its standards address all areas of a certification program—from the examination itself to the organization’s governing structure. Accreditation helps employers, state licensing agencies and others decide whether to recognize a particular credential.
NCCA is the accrediting body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), which has more than 330 organizational members. Of those members, less than half have received and maintained NCCA accreditation.
The CT accreditation is ARRT’s sixth from the NCCA.
