At the July 2020 Board of Trustees meeting, ARRT extended recognition for the radiologist assistant program sponsored by Weber State University for three years and the radiologist assistant program sponsored by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for five years.

ARRT evaluated the programs based on our recognition criteria for radiologist assistant education programs. To get or maintain ARRT recognition, educational programs must meet criteria including accreditation, clinical education, and preceptorship requirements.
