At its January Board of Trustees meeting, ARRT extended the recognition of four continuing education (CE) partners:

• The American Society of Radiologic Technologists earned five-year recognition as a CE approver, CE tracker and CE transferor.
• The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists earned five-year recognition as a CE approver.
• The Oregon Board of Medical Imaging earned five-year recognition as a CE approver.
• The Society for Vascular Ultrasound earned five-year recognition as a CE approver.

CE approvers review CE activities and determine whether educational activities meet ARRT requirements. If so, CE approvers determine the credit value awarded for completing the activity. Oregon is one of the states that ARRT recognizes to approve CE activities for Category A credit for people licensed in Oregon.

CE trackers verify completion of CE activities and maintain records of CE activities that technologists complete.

CE transferors electronically submit technologists’ records of completed CE activities to ARRT.

ARRT updates the list of recognized entities on our website is updated when the recognition status of CE partners changes.
