ARRT Recognizes Five CE Partners

At the July 2024 Board of Trustees meeting, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognized five continuing education (CE) partners:

ARRT recognized two new CE partners:

  • The Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals earned five-year recognition as a CE approver.
  • The Charleston Area Medical Center Imaging Center c/o CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine earned five-year recognition as a CE approver and CE tracker.

ARRT also recognized three CE partners who earned five-year recognition as CE approvers:

  • The Association of Vascular and Interventional Radiographers (AVIR)
  • The Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT)
  • The Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists (MSRT)

CE approvers review CE activities and determine whether educational activities meet ARRT requirements. If so, CE approvers determine the credit value awarded for completing the activity. Kentucky and Massachusetts are two of the states that ARRT recognizes to approve CE activities for Category A credit for people licensed in Kentucky and Massachusetts.

CE trackers verify completion of CE activities and maintain records of CE activities that technologists complete. CE transferors electronically submit technologists’ records of completed CE activities to ARRT.
