APPLICANTS MUST REPORT ETHICS VIOLATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS
Published May 2018
Candidates who are applying for certification and registration with ARRT must notify us of any ethics violations within 30 days of their occurrence.
Violations include:
- Criminal charges and/or convictions
- State licensing issues
- Any other violation of our Rules of Ethics
Candidates should be aware that ethics reviews rarely result in revocation of an R.T.’s credentials or a declaration of ineligibility for applicants. It’s much better to report a potential violation than to try to hide it.
If applicants have questions or need to report a violation, they should call our Ethics Requirements Department at 651.687.0048. The should choose the option for ethics information. They can find more detailed information about our ethics requirements and the reporting process at www.arrt.org.
