Remote Scanning Doesn’t Meet Our Clinical Requirements
If you’re working on an ARRT credential, be aware: remote scanning doesn’t meet our clinical requirements. You must:
- Complete the procedures/examinations—from beginning to end—at the facility where the patient and equipment are located.
- Be physically present during the examination or procedure.
- Demonstrate our requirements independently, consistently, and effectively.
A designated program official or clinical verifier must acknowledge that you’ve completed all patient-care, technical, procedural, and evaluative skills for each procedure. Find more information in our Didactic/Clinical Competency Requirements and Clinical Experience Requirements.
