EXAM DURATION AND LENGTH
As exam day approaches, you may wonder how much time you’ll have to complete the test. The answer depends on the specific discipline in which you’re attempting to earn certification and registration.
The test duration corresponds with the number of scored questions (sometimes called items) and non-scored (pilot) items for your discipline. The pilot items will appear randomly throughout the exam and will not be distinguishable from scored items. Your answers to the pilot items will help us develop test materials for future candidates, just as past candidates helped pilot items for today’s exams. Refer to our handbooks for the number of test questions and the length of time for each discipline's exam.
You’ll receive additional time to complete a tutorial and nondisclosure agreement (NDA) before the exam and fill out a survey afterward.
