Beth Weber Joins ARRT Board of Trustees; Steve Herrmann Completes Board Term

Beth Weber, MPH, R.T.(R)(ARRT), RDMS, CRA, FASRT, has been appointed to a four-year term on the Board of Trustees of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). She will fill the position vacated by Steven M. Herrmann, MSA, R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT), CRA, FASRT, who has completed two four-year terms on the Board, the maximum that ARRT’s bylaws allow.

ARRT To Change Nuclear Medicine Technology Cut Score in January 2020

On Jan. 1, 2020, ARRT will begin using a new cut score for the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) examination. Although we’ll continue to report the exam’s cut score as a scaled score of 75, the new cut score will require passing candidates to answer a few more questions correctly than they had to in the past.

ARRT Provides Grants to AIUM Winners

ARRT collaborates with AIUM, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (SMRT) and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologist Section (SNMMI-TS) to run scholarship programs. Applicants don’t need to hold an ARRT credential to apply for or receive a grant.
